  1. DEMO.EXE is a sample executable that was created using ProVision:Windows
  2. and Clipper.  It will automatically detect what video adapter you are
  3. using and select the appropriate mode.  However, if you wish to see the
  4. appearance of the demo in standard mode on a system that supports the
  5. graphics-like mode, simply run the demo like this:

  9. This may be necessary on certain computers with LCD screens.

  11. Notes about the demo:

  13. Because ProVision:Windows makes full use of Clipper's VMM or Virtual
  14. Memory Management it is suggested that when you run the demo you do not
  15. disable Clipper's usage of Expanded Memory by setting CLIPPER=E:0.
  16. A disk cache can also help performance tremendously.
